Technical Product Owner, Data & AI

We are actively hiring a Technical Product Owner, Data & AI to join the Flourish Research Continuous Improvement division.
The Technical Product Owner, Data & AI is responsible for owning the roadmap, design, and implementation of AI-powered operational workflows that support Flourish Research’s business needs and process improvement initiatives. This role reports within the Continuous Improvement function and partners closely with Operational Leadership, Finance, and technology teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into scalable workflow solutions, evaluate enabling technologies, and ensure solutions are practical, repeatable, and effective for end users.
Shift: Monday-Friday, Normal business hours (occasional evenings or weekends as needed)
Location: Remote
Compensation: $75,000-$100,000 base salary

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect requirements from operational leadership, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to design AI-powered workflow solutions that address Flourish Research’s operational needs.
- Translate business problems into clearly scoped product initiatives, structured AI queries, and repeatable workflow designs.
- Own and maintain the backlog for AI workflow initiatives, including prioritization, acceptance criteria, and definition of done.
- Evaluate workflow and automation technologies, recommend the best fit for each use case, and prototype solutions within Flourish’s existing systems.
- Validate outputs, document current- and future-state workflows, and support continuous improvement through iteration and performance measurement.
- Build user-friendly outputs and tools that non-technical teams can act on effectively, while communicating complex concepts in a clear and practical way.
- Maintain strong collaboration with stakeholders and technology teams, represent Flourish Research professionally in all interactions, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, information systems, clinical research, or a related field preferred; equivalent analytical and operational experience will also be considered.
- 2–4 years of experience in clinical research operations, health system analytics, CRO operations, healthcare process improvement, health technology implementation, or a related environment.
- Demonstrated experience using AI language models or similar tools to solve real business or operational problems.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into data questions, workflow requirements, and actionable operational solutions.
- Experience owning or helping manage a product roadmap, backlog, requirements, or workflow implementation process.
- Familiarity with structured data environments such as CTMS, CRM, SQL, or equivalent systems.
- Exposure to workflow automation platforms, no-code or low-code tools, and technology evaluation is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills required.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, organized, and solution-oriented.
